Glass, tracks and frames need a clear scope

Accessible tracks, sills and frames can be included, but the amount of work varies. Light dust in a sliding track is different from compacted debris or damaged rollers. Say whether the goal is a routine clean or a more detailed reset and photograph the parts causing concern.

Cleaning is not a repair to a failed seal, damaged coating, scratched pane or faulty opening mechanism. Point out existing damage before the visit so it can be distinguished from removable surface marks. Ask about stickers, paint or building residue separately; they should not be treated as ordinary dirt.

Access can change the method and price

Tell us about storeys, balconies, sloping ground, narrow side paths, fixed screens and furniture in front of internal glazing.
